ayaw ko nga itakwil ako ng family ko...

I'd rather choose my own family than a foreigner partner...

yeah, i'm totally agree with u, its better for maranao women to choose a maranao guy(if she can choose anyway)

sorry 2 say! pero marami akung kilala na maranao women, na nag asawa ng Foriegner......
pero! sa pagakaka alam ko mga from ARAB Countries...pero d ako sure if, they r practice "ISLAM"
ang nakakalumkot may manga maranao women din na nag asawa ng other tribe from Pillippines like Pilipino-Chinese married 2 a PURE Maranao Women .. ung Maranao Women dating Miss JPI nung early 70's at at isa pa ung asawa ni Andrew E. .....sa pagkaka alam ko 4 PURE maranao women ang napangasawa ng NON MUSLIM Men.......

i think... its a rare case. its not that prevalent in meranao society. meron nag-asawa ng foreigner probably mistiza-meranao ... half-bisaya o half-tagalog o half-ilongo ... etc.

rare lang ang pure meranao na mag-asawa ng foreigner.... yun nga.. kung gusto maitakwil at mas piliin nya foreigner ....ok lang din sana foreigner kung muslim peru kung kafir pa - thats sad.

I agree with koya wyzemoro, It's probably a mistiza-meranao, 'cuz marrying to non-maranaw men is nearly prohibeted. or at least unacceptable in maranao society as far as I know.
