i have noticed too that muslims in other countries particularly in the middle east are very sensitive when it comes to their religion..they are willing to die and to kill for their religion. and since they are very religious, they are not afraid to die which i think is a disadvantage to the human race. i mean why would you want to die if God has given you life?

please i would love to know about the gap between the shiah and sunni..please let us know.. it would be very selfish of you if you just keep it to yourself. why is there a gap between the two muslim groups? but then i think that gap is affected by culture or ancestral domain or other things aside from religion.. just like here in the philippines, the gap between the muslim (in the south of the philippines) and the nonmuslim (in the north of the philippines) is primarily because of ancestral domain and not mainly on religion but nowadays people would say it's all because of the difference in religion but if you would trace it back to our ancestors, it was because of the ancestral domain (lupa) (according to our history professor).

so, the quesion is why is there a gap between the two muslim groups (shiah and sunni) there in your place?

i realy dont think that u understand Islam well,(with all my respect) , and thats the problem of many Muslim in non-Muslim countries , like Philippines. As a Muslim u must put the Religion above everything. le’me ask u this simple question: if someone harm  ur farther or anyone ur love, whats gona be ur reaction?? i guess its clear,

i would like to reply in brief the inquiry on the diff. bet. sunni and shia.

1. sunni are those who believe in Allah and His Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) example
    you will find people in saudi arabia almost 100pct are sunni. also in lanao na almost 100pct
    majority are sunni.

2. shia - this is what i know regarding them:

the truth is, shia is not one group, but more that 70+. so not all of them say that, only the extremist of shia Al-ithna Ashrea. therefore, 70% of shai believ in Mohammed(PBUH) as a prophet.

who's Ali bin Maawiya??i'v never heared that name, in fact Ali was selected by the Shahaba. and there was not opponent, only Ahisha 'nd Maawiya were angry when Othman was kelled 'nd Ali did nothing.......only when Al-hassan bin Ali  became the Ameer at Al-Maddenah, the war between him and Maawiya of Damaskos has began..

i didn't know there are a lot of differences between the sunni and shiah. i thought the only difference is ung prophet.

i was shocked by pagaria's knowledge about the shia muslims.

cant say i think much of Saddam. he used chemical warfare against the Iranians in the 80's... which was known by the Americans who supplied Saddam with satelite images...
either way Saddam has treated his people like shit for to long and he paid the ultimate price. i keenly wait for America to get its comeuppance
