Xenxa na po, if i do prefer use taglish kasi po ang hirap isulat ang spellings ng maranao words....lol!
anyway, kahit anu namang mangyari, maranao parin po ako tsaka i will never forget my language...
cguro if voice call, kht all tru days and nyts nagsasalita ako ng maranao but not in written type...huhu...mahirap kaya?

yes its really hard to have a written in meranao since theres no standard how it should be written since of the accent and pronounciation. peru in due time... sanayan lang naman... you can use this forum as a learning place also... mag practice.

i  am a pure-blood maranao.
i am born and raised in marawi city for 19 years.
i think im fluent in maranao.
but there are still a lot of maranao words i don't understand,
especially ancient maranao words.
but do i really need to be good in writing maranao too?
isn't speaking maranao enough?

i think i would prefer to practice writing in english than in maranao.
let's face it, in this world..those who are good in speaking and writing
english are a step higher to those who are not.

but right now, im practicing my maranao writing skills in mIRC..

HEHHE, SMILE, I THINK OUR LANGUAGE  IS THE HARDEST ACCENT IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD . HAHAHA  EVEN ME I CAN'T STILL PRONOUNCE IT WELL. Saan ako inimbawata sa Marawi (sa walay ami pun kunaba sa ospital...hehe)
So ama akun na taga BASAK.
So ina akun na e-Marawiin.
Daako dun makakhulas sa puragaragatan aya
ka saan bo sa Marawi taman sa kiyapakapasad akun sa college.
(di ron pud so kyareview akun ka salakaw dun oto ka da a review center tano san sa Marawi).
