The Mindanao State University´s main campus is on a ten sq kilometers site in Marawi. Inside are the modern King Faisal Mosque and Institute of Islamic and Arab Studies and the Aga Khan Museum with its huge collection of indigenous art, tapes of ethninc music and dance, and native tools and weapons. Also within the campus is the Marawi Resort Hotel with cottages, restaurant, swimming pool and other facilities.

Aga Khan Museum

The museum is named in honor of King Aga Khan who contributed to the realization of the museum. Historical development of the country is bank on the large space upon the conservation of cultural materials. It has huge collection of indigenous art, displayed ethnic music tape recorded, the native folk dances from different region of Mindanao, Sulu and Palawan, the native tools and weapon used by the Muslims and different artistic designs of houses are the main attraction of the museum.

Torogan
The feeling of the unique setting of the Maranao in Marawi City is manifested by the presence of many large torogan, an antique royal high roofed with carving design of Maranao.

Ancestral Homes at Bacolod Chico
It is a century old homes inspired by Arabic Architecture and Maranao woodcarvings (okir). The place is famous of its mats, malong and other woven Maranao textiles.
